In the last days of 2013 we publish some most interesting facts from IT industry in numbers.

3.7 trillion – in U.S. dollars worldwide IT spending in 2013, according to Gartner’ research published in July. Prediction is 2 percent increase from 2012 spending. Statistic include data from the hardware, software, IT services and telecom markets.
5 billion – number of cellphone calling records collected by the NSA as part of a location and data tracking system, according to The Washington Post. Details of the program were among the many documents leaked by Edward Snowden to news organizations.
2.35 billion – units worldwide devices combined shipments of PCs, tablets and mobile phones in 2013, according to Gartner. Traditional PC shipments are forecast to total 305 million versus 2 billion of mobile phones and tablets.
