World famous Research Laboratory Simula is doing research “estimation of software development effort” in Ukraine. SoftElegance has participated in this research as one of the software development companies in Kiev.
Professor Magne Jørgensen from Simula Research Laboratory and University of Olso is responsible for this study. Also SoftElegance’s developers and architects has participated in seminar “Software Development Efforts Estimation: Why it fails and how to improve it”.
“Average estimation overrun in IT-projects is reported to be about 30%” – Prof. Magne Jørgensen said.
