SoftElegance has started to use the SplendidCRM in trial mode. At the moment we are using Community edition with MS SQL Sever 2008. After the first month we will consider to use or not SplendidCRM and the version in case it could cover our requirements.
SplendidCRM is a Microsoft-centric open-source customer relationship management application. It was written in C# using the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008.
Unfortunately the SplendidCRM is not a bug free and there are come question to software usability.
At the moment SoftElegance’s use free Community edition on our Windows Server 2008 R2 with SQL Server 2008 Enterprise 64-bit. Also available “Enterprise”, “Professional”, and “Full Featured” editions.
The cloud-based versions are hosted on an all Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit network, with the database residing on SQL Server 2008 Enterprise 64-bit. The pricing model is per ‘user/month’.
The source code, written in C# with .NET Framework, is available for download from CodePlex. SplendidCRM is developed under SplendidCRM & SugarCRM Public Licenses, but SplendidCRM version 5.0 Community edition is developed under GNU Affero General Public License v3.
